Ten2Two Terms & Conditions for CV Writing Services

Please take a moment to read these terms before using our services.

  1. Ordering with Ten2Two

We require payment upfront to get started on your order. Payments are processed securely through our online merchant service, Stripe.

If you accidentally select the wrong product—for example, the incorrect CV type—please let us know within 8 hours. We'll be happy to correct your order or provide a full refund if you'd prefer not to continue.

The turnaround time for your order starts once we’ve received all the necessary information. From there, we’ll craft or review your CV based on what you’ve shared with us. Your completed CV will be sent to the email address you provided in both Microsoft Word and PDF formats.

We recommend checking your junk or spam folder while waiting for your CV, just in case it lands there. Unfortunately, we can’t take responsibility for emails marked as spam, even if they’ve been sent successfully.

After sending your CV, we’ll consider the order complete unless you let us know adjustments are needed. To help us process revisions quickly, please outline your changes in an email and send them directly to your CV writer.

Our team of experienced CV writers—typically with recruitment or HR expertise—does their utmost to deliver high-quality work. However, we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage arising from following the advice provided.

  1. Turnaround Times

Our turnaround times are guidelines rather than guarantees.

The clock starts ticking once we’ve received all the information we need—not when the order is placed.

If there’s a chance we won’t meet the stated turnaround time (e.g., due to order complexity or busy periods), we’ll contact you promptly to discuss next steps.

Here’s what to expect:

  • CV Refresh: Standard turnaround is 3 business days.
  • CV Renew and CV Ultimate: Standard turnaround is 5 business days from your consultation call, not the order date. If further information is required after your call the 5 business days starts once we’ve received all the information we need.

If consultation calls are rescheduled or delayed, this will affect your delivery time. For revisions, we aim to complete them within 1 business day of your request.

We’re unable to offer refunds for missed application deadlines, so we recommend engaging our services at least 10 business days before your deadline.

  1. Delivery Format

Your CV will be delivered in Microsoft Word and PDF formats. While we’ll do our best to help with compatibility issues, we can’t be held responsible for problems arising from individual computer setups.

We don’t create editable documents in formats like Apple Pages or Google Docs, but we’ll always aim to provide suitable alternatives if possible.

  1. Cancellation and Refunds

Our CV writing services are bespoke and tailored to your needs, so they’re exempt from standard distance selling regulations.

When you purchase a service, you’re paying for the time and expertise involved in critiquing, researching, drafting, and proofreading your documents—not just the end product.

  • If you notify us of an incorrect order within 8 hours, we’ll provide a full refund.
  • After 8 hours, refunds are not available as your project will already be assigned to a writer.
  1. Consultation Calls – Rescheduling or Cancelling

If you need to reschedule or cancel your consultation call, you can do so free of charge with at least 24 hours’ notice before your scheduled appointment.

For changes or cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment, a 10% surcharge will apply.

  1. LinkedIn Profile Writing

Our LinkedIn Profile Writing service delivers a detailed Word document with content for the various sections of your LinkedIn profile. You can copy and paste this into your live profile at your convenience.

For security reasons, we don’t log in to create or edit profiles directly. This protects your personal information and login credentials.

  1. Complaints

We hope you’ll be delighted with our service, but if something isn’t right, please let us know. You can email us at maddie@ten2two.org, and we’ll investigate your concerns. We’ll aim to respond within 3 working days.

  1. Limitation of Liability

While we aim to provide exceptional service, Ten2Two and its team cannot be held responsible for any losses or damages arising from:

  • Using, or being unable to use, our website or services.
  • Reliance on any content, advice, or materials provided by us.
  • Missed deadlines, application outcomes, or issues related to third-party platforms or tools.

This includes, but is not limited to, personal injury, emotional distress, loss of income, missed opportunities, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
