It’s that time of year when, hopefully you’ll get some time off.  Whether you’re on holiday lying on a beach or planning days out with the family, try to find some time to yourself to relax and enjoy a well-deserved break.

Are we undervaluing mums?  

It’s fair to say that if you’re a mum (and increasingly this includes dads too) you’re probably on the go 24/7 managing numerous aspects of your family and your own life. Yet there’s lots of evidence to suggest that your contribution as a mum is undervalued by society, as well as those nearest and dearest to you.

Well, we say it’s all good – if someone was handling all your home and kids management for you, you’d have to pay them something like £160k – just look at this article if you don’t believe us. So next time you feel undervalued just mention your ‘virtual salary’ and see what reaction you get!
