The year is off to a flying start, what can we say! Thanks to everyone who has attended our FREE Member events so far this year.

So far we’ve taken on over 15 new roles and had some very interesting meetings with a number of local businesses in Herts, Bucks and Beds, all of whom are seeking to recruit in 2018

The outlook for flexible working and part-time employment is encouraging too.

The Future of Jobs commission report by the REC made two recommendations for employers in the UK this year.

Firstly, it highlights the need to address flexibility in the workplace and also the impact technology will have in terms of how we work and what things we work on.

It all means the future of working is flexible.

The REC states that “a successful future jobs market is one where flexible working options are available and where people have genuine choice as to how they work.”

The rise of the part-time employment agency

Fact is, while we shouldn’t really tell you this, the UK has seen a rise in part-time employment agencies in the UK, showing that demand for flexible working really is on the up.

All sorts of businesses are entering the market, trying to emulate what we do – but don’t forget, we’re not an average part-time employment agency. We manage the end-to-end recruitment process saving recruiting managers valuable time.

We also act more like a head hunter for professional staff who are highly skilled and often more than qualified for the roles they fill.

Flexible workers like this fill a very real business need, particularly as everyone is talking about a talent shortage crisis this year.
