WELCOME TO 2016

I can’t quite believe that we are already at the end of February, but what an exciting start to the year for Ten2Two North Herts & Beds. We have hosted two extremely successful events that Clare will go into more detail about on page 2, and we have already placed two members into new roles to start their 2016 career progression. We have several open roles progressing nicely, with many more on the horizon. I can see that 2016 is going to be a busy year for us and I am excited about the opportunity to help our members take the next step in their careers.

HOW POSITIVE ARE YOU?

Ten2Two clients often tell us that they’re seeking someone with more than just the relevant skills for the position they need to fill. They’re looking for the ‘complete package’. JANUARY EVENTS WERE A REAL HIT!

We were delighted to kick off the new year by hosting two events, back to back, in Luton – an area we haven’t had the opportunity to host in previously.

We started with our ever-popular ‘Getting to Know You’ 1:1 meetings on January 20th at the Garden Inn Hilton Hotel. Carol-Anne and myself met 14 new members and during our discussions we were able to find out all we needed to know to help support their job search.

This was followed within the week by a ‘Return to Work’ event, at The Hat Factory in the centre of Luton. The perfect venue for an intimate workshop of this kind, a group of Ten2Two members joined us to hear lots of useful and vital information about making their first tentative steps back into the workplace. We were lucky enough to have a lively group of members who were keen to share their experiences and offer their own guidance in addition to the materials provided by Ten2Two. This was a new format for this event and feedback has been extremely positive so we intend to host this event again in a new area later in the year. Future events are communicated both in this newsletter, on our website and facebook page, and by email so if you would like to join us do keep a look out for more details.

Following the huge success of the January events we are keen to keep the momentum going and are planning our next events for after Easter.
