Flexible working can help you grow your business with talented professionals. How do I know? Because that is how we have grown our business here at Ten2Two Kent.

If you’re like me you will have collected roles and responsibilities along the way which are not your forte. This takes up precious time where you could be more effective and productive elsewhere. How often do you find yourself doing some social media, marketing, administration, book keeping, or data management? When you should really be making those sales calls, client appointments, and networking meetings?

Make that change!

After realising just how much time I was wasting every week I decided I had to take some action. I have now recruited a fantastic operations administrator.  This has given me more time to concentrate my efforts on what I am best at. In other words, filling my client’s vacancies with talented staff and meeting new businesses.

Whilst the role was critical to business growth it was not big enough to justify a full time person. Lorraine has a fantastic background and has many attributes that add value to our business. She works 15 hours per week. This gives me enough coverage and frees up enough time for me to look after my clients. These hours equate to 40% of a full time salary which I have found is a great investment.

Have a think about your time and the rest of your team. Where is there an opening or a skills gap that could be filled with an experienced professional working on flexible or part time basis? Ten2Two Kent are lucky enough to have a fantastic unique community of professionals at our fingertips who are looking for this type of work. That’s how we found Lorraine. If you are thinking about finding your very own Lorraine for your business check out these useful tips.  We have a whole army of Lorraines with many different skills ready and waiting to help.
