Thinking of returning to work in September?  If, like many people, you will be waving your children off to school in September for the first time your thoughts may have turned to job hunting. 

Good news for anyone looking for a new role! • The latest job research by the Recruitment Industry Body, the REC, shows that 80% of employers state that economic conditions are getting better.

Key findings in July’s edition include:

• 46% of employers expect confidence in hiring and investment decisions to get better

• Four in ten (41%) employers increased pay/earnings of their staff in the last year and none reduced pay

• 74% of hirers plan to add permanent headcount over the next quarter, and 71% plan to do so from September onwards.

Does your CV do you justice?  Your CV is your sales document and needs to have impact, highlighting why an employer should take your application to the next (interview) stage.  It should be an organic, living document and can be adapted to suit each role you apply for.
