Well what a year 2015 was!  Here at Ten2Two we have seen a record number of you being placed in flexible and agile opportunities in and around the local West Kent area. This is great to be part of and we really feel there is a change in the way that employers are looking to grow their teams. Here are a few reasons we believe things are changing;

  • Affordability – Employers are able to grow their business utlising the weatlth of experience available on a flexible and Part time basis. It is estimated that almost 30% of the working population in Britain today works part time. http://bit.ly/1mnCuwy
  • Increased employee well being. This ACAS document on improved well being in the workplace shows how companies are addressing issues around this subject. Page 6 of this document pays particular attention to the work life balance and flexible working.  http://bit.ly/226WZxT

We are currently working on a brand new Timetable of workshops for the New Year so look out for the next member email and make sure you schedule these in your diary.

One of the most important tools for us to help you with your search is an up to date CV. Over 20% of our members have not supplied us with a CV. We cannot stress enough the importance of a CV. This is the ultimate selling document, both for you looking independently and also for us to promote you to potential employers we are working with. If you don’t have one that is up to date and current, then use your New Year enthusiasm to check out our CV Hints and tips on the website http://bit.ly/1RU3kbw

Don’t forget to keep connected with us on our Facebook page http://on.fb.me/1mahjNZ  or on twitter at either @Ten2TwoKentA or @Ten2TwoKentK. Please feel free to share any useful information on the Facebook page or let us know if there is something you would like us to feature.

That just leaves us to wish you all a very Happy New Year.

Best wishes
