At Ten2Two we fully appreciate flexibility, and know the importance of being able to scale up quickly. Pure Offices do just that. If you’re a start-up looking for your first office, if you’re expanding and need somewhere that will expand with you, or are looking for a new regional centre, then you should visit Pure Offices.

Pure Offices began life in 2007, and by April 2018 will have 20 offices spread across the country, from Edinburgh to Portsmouth and from Weston-Super-Mare to Welwyn Garden City, and are still looking for new locations. Hampshire is served by two offices in Farnborough – one on Southwood and one in the town centre – and one in Portsmouth, while others nearby are in Reading, Oxford and Swindon.

Newly Refurbished

Pure Offices in Farnborough Southwood opened just before Christmas 2017 and is now nearly half full. All the businesses in the Farnborough Pure Office vary in size and sector and across many different industries, just like Ten2Two’s clients.

On site Manager Cheryl Dobson says the offices are very social, with people meeting in the breakout area while they make coffee, but she also plans to introduce monthly networking events such as coffee afternoons and summer parties, so all the tenants have an opportunity to meet. Many of the tenants have come through word of mouth, although Cheryl works with local brokers too.

The Farnborough Southwood office is in a newly refurbished building and is light and airy, and the downstairs areas are characterised by wonderfully high ceilings and massive windows. There is high speed broadband and network cabling and spaces available vary from a one man, 85 sq. ft, office up to 737 square foot spaces that can accommodate 14 to 16 people.

Rent-a-Phone

There are also “virtual offices” available at all the Pure Office locations. If you’re running a business from home you can rent a post box with 24/7 access at their smart addresses, plus a telephone number. Once the business is up and running it’s easy to upgrade to a real office, and they’ll credit you with 6 months fees you have paid against your new office.

Rolling Contracts and more

The contracts roll from month to month which is very appealing to new businesses. There is a meeting room that is available for internal and external hire, lots and lots of parking, and it’s all perfectly located for the M3 (Junction 4A is a hop, skip and a jump away). Nearby are pubs, a petrol station and a supermarket so you can have a sandwich at your desk or eat out. There’s even a shared area to heat your lunch in.  Rental includes one phone (but more can be hired) and all internet and utilities. Just bring your furniture! Or you can use a local furniture supplier that Pure recommends, such as Floyds of Farnborough.

Plan B Catering

In fact, everything is kept local, including the catering. Anne Moore of Plan B Catering in Alton provided the food for the launch party last December and continues to look after Pure Office’s tenants. She understands the corporate world very well, having previously worked in IT, but now runs her catering company full time. She believes in using the best local ingredients whenever she can, such as delicious cheeses from her local farmers’ markets. Anne can provide all the catering a business could need, from sandwiches for working lunches to canapes for launch events and dinners for up to 60 people. She has inspiring seasonal menu choices and all her food is fresh and homemade. Like the offices, she is flexible and aims to take all the hassle out of an event, and can provide all the glasses, cutlery and flatware and staff needed to turn an event into a memorable occasion.

So, let’s recap:
