Meet the team
The original Ten2Two team, now working alongside our other offices, has been passionate about flexible working since 2007. We’ve helped clients in the local business community recruit fabulous part-time professionals and have built a unique local community of over 10,000 part-time professionals.
Jane, Deborah, Chloe and Jo (not pictured) combine their deep knowledge of professional part-time recruitment with general business experience, gained from successful careers.
Deborah’s earlier career Telecoms saw her influencing how we buy and use communications. She was intimately involved in establishing a chain of over 100 BT Shops (latterly O2 stores), leading the way for the plethora of mobile phone stores today and managed the most successful direct marketing campaign in Europe.
Jane’s been knee-deep in numbers throughout her career. She’s held senior finance roles at Booker plc and Christies International so understands the finance sector inside out. However, her talents spread much further at Ten2Two, working with clients and across our community involvement.
Chloe has great recruitment experience across the charity, finance, graduate and PA sectors and now uses that experience in working with both Ten2Two members and clients.
Jo, our newest team member, has a wealth of knowledge of recruitment and staffing from her in-house HR management positions within a wide range of sectors from creative industries through to engineering.

At Ten2Two our specialism is helping local businesses find talented local professionals. You could describe us as a flexible and part-time recruitment agency. But as we hope you’ve gathered, we’re more than a recruitment consultancy.
We recognise that there’s a wealth of highly skilled individuals who in many cases have reached the top of their career ladder, and who now require a little flexibility in their job roles. This is often true when parents return to work after children who need to fit work in around the school run. There are lots of other reasons why potential employees want greater flexibility in their lives – not just working parents. We have all sorts of people on our books, from young to old. But they all have one thing in common – they’re highly skilled professionals.
Businesses too are realising the great benefits that flexible working brings to their workplaces also – we like to call it affordable, rich and local talent. By hiring a flexible worker, businesses gain highly motivated employees at a reduced cost to them. It’s just one of the reasons our clients return to us again and again for their next flexible hires.
We try to foster a culture of personal development and to build a community of peers amongst our candidates. That’s why we run a programme of free personal development workshops. We also have a client and role referral scheme and recruit ‘members’ rather than candidates.
We also enjoy playing an active role in the local business community around West Hertfordshire and South Buckinghamshire. We are particularly active in recruitment for Berkhamsted, Hemel Hempstead, Tring, St Albans, Watford, Aylesbury and Amersham.
