At Ten2Two, now that the dust has settled after the EU referendum, our motto is to firmly ‘keep calm and carry on!’ We believe that businesses that remain focused will continue to help economic growth and create jobs. As Martin Lewis says, if we all carry on and act as normal, we can avoid the pitfall of talking ourselves into a recession.

Employers remain undeterred by referendum result

Latest figures from the UK’s job market indicate that the outlook is promising, with Reed.co.uk experiencing growth in terms of the number of positions being advertised – up 8% compared with this time last year. What’s more, 83% of companies have told Reed that they will not be freezing recruitment after the UK’s decision to leave the EU.

Thinking of returning to work this autumn?

If you’re thinking about returning to work, take a quick audit with our Returners Wheel. Block out half an hour with a cup of tea (or glass of wine!) and score yourself on each of the eight segments of the wheel. You’re looking for a smooth ride so if you have widely varying marks, set yourself some actions to even things out.
