We are thrilled to have welcomed over 650 new professional members to our network during the last year. It really is great to be able to share with local businesses that we now have nearly 900 talented candidates who can make a difference to their business.

Last year saw the introduction of flexible working requests being made available to all employees who have been in the workplace for more than 26 weeks. This has once again opened up the debate on flexible and part time working, which can only be positive. We will continue to work hard within our local business community to promote the benefits of flexible and part time working.

Workshops

Our ever popular ‘Getting to Know You’ and CV workshops are set to run throughout the year. We aim to hold these every 4-6 weeks. These events are a great opportunity for us to meet our members and to find out more about their aspirations and career goals.

Other workshops in the pipeline include a Style and Wine evening. In conjunction with a local stylist, we will tackle the ‘Return to Work’ wardrobe issues that often arise when looking to get back into the work place or when changing jobs. This will also be an opportunity to network with the team and other Ten2Two members. We are really looking forward to that one!

Social Media

Perfecting your professional profile – Again this is a popular event which focuses on your on-line professional profiles and how important it is to get it right. We look at the key social media platforms, how to use them in your search for work and offer hints and tips on how to polish your on-line profile.

Interview techniques

This workshop is designed to get you thinking about that crucial interview and the different interview styles to expect. We like to have a bit of a laugh, and previous workshops have involved some dodgy role play….by us, not you so don’t panic!

Business Awards Finalists!

We were absolutely delighted to be selected as finalists at the Hertfordshire Business Awards. This was a real accolade for us as we have worked hard to put Ten2Two on the map in North Herts and Bedfordshire, so it was an honour to have shared the awards evening with some of Hertfordshire’s most successful businesses.
