We’ve had a really busy start of the year and are really pleased to have recently successfully placed a PA, Business Development Manager, Front of House Administrator, Marketing and Communications Executive, Part-time Accountant and an Office Manager… all working flexibly! We have a number of roles in the pipeline so look out for emails with details of these.
As you’re aware, Ten2Two is more than a recruitment agency. Of course we aim to find you work that fits in with your life and personal commitments but we also try to foster a culture of personal development and to build a community of peers. That’s why we run a programme of development workshops throughout the year, have a client and role referral scheme and have ‘members’ rather than candidates. Here’s details of our next workshops coming up:
CV Workshop 10.00am – Wednesday 4th March Tunbridge Wells
This popular workshop takes you through how to create the best CV you can. Remember your CV is the first step in securing a new role, it’s the selling document which will get you through the door of a potential employer. For many of us our CV has been neglected and not updated to reflect our current skillset and the role we’re now seeking. We’ll look at the best CV for you and discuss a skills based CV. The workshop is interactive, good fun and there is no preparation required, just a willingness to participate and a copy of your latest CV (in whatever state).
Social Media Workshop 7.309m – Thursday 26th March Sevenoaks
Come along and spend an interactive two hours learning about how Social Media is changing the world around us and how to make the most of your Social Media profile. From understanding why you should be on LinkedIn, how to Tweet effectively and about the most common mistakes on Facebook. We’ll outline some simple strategies and give you some easy tips to prompt you to get involved.
There’ll be lots of opportunities to ask questions. The session will be run by John O’Sullivan, one of the Ten2Two team from Hertfordshire. John has been involved in Social Media since 1997 when he was involved in launching the first consumer ‘ISP’ in the UK and is an active user of Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook. This workshop has been very well received by a large number of Ten2Two members with great feedback from each session. Join us for a glass of wine and some social media chat!
