We’ve recently written about Ten2Two Hampshire’s extremely broad candidate base, and the amazing pool of talent that’s available to businesses in Hampshire. But not many businesses know about the extensive number of languages that are available.
Hampshire is a county that has many ties to international business. Southampton is home to some extremely famous international names, such as Cunard, P&O, Ordnance Survey, Garmin and B&Q, and is the cruise capital of Northern Europe. The Port of Southampton is Europe’s most productive port, the second largest container terminal in the UK and the UK’s leading port for automotive trade. Further afield, Farnborough International Air Show in 2016 welcomed 1,500 exhibitors from 52 countries, who placed more than $124 billion of orders and commitments, and is looking to break that record this year.
The Hampshire Chamber of Commerce knows that foreign trade is vital to the UK economy, and helps many local companies who look overseas for opportunities. The HCC has two local International Trade Offices and provides support and advice in all areas of International Trade development, as well as up to date country information and advice on essential documentation.
It’s fair to say that Hampshire has a lot of overseas business, and therefore needs people who are able to communicate with the overseas world. Which is wonderful, as Ten2Two Hampshire has a very international set of candidates who speak nearly every language you can imagine, including 34 people who can translate Latin for you!
Ten2Two Hampshire not only has over 340 people who are fluent in French, but there are candidates available who can help in any number of European languages, with 150 speaking German, nearly 120 speaking Spanish and 46 who speak Italian. Our candidates can work in Danish, Portuguese, Russian, Dutch, Hungarian, Slovakian and Turkish, Romanian and Czech, and a few more languages besides.
