Now that 2016 has well and truly begun, many of us are setting our sights on how to improve upon the year before. If you’re returning to work after a career break, or looking for an opportunity that suits your lifestyle more – this could be the year to really go for it.

Here at Ten2Two, we’re hoping to improve on last year’s success by adding even more Members to our current base of 15,000 professionals across all of our offices in the southeast.

What next for flexible working?

Flexible working is taking off – since we started eight years ago, we’re seeing an increase in competitors who are also targeting the flexible gap. But not all recruitment agencies are created equally. Here at Ten2Two, we only work with highly professional organisations to find our Members the career jobs they’re looking for, with greater flexibility.

A shiny new CV for the New Year

Now’s a good time to make sure your details with us are up to date. You can log into your records via our website at ten2two.org to amend your personal details or upload a revised CV. We often search by location so it’s really important we have a correct postcode.

A little social housekeeping

It’s also a good time to build your own online profile – potential employers often use social media as a first port of call when looking at new CVs. We regularly blog and post insights into the world of flexible careers online at Facebook, Twitter, our LinkedIn company profile and on the website. Why not follow us to get regular updates and, we hope, a little added inspiration.

New workshops for 2016

We’ll be in touch shortly with news about our upcoming free workshops, where you’ll be able to meet the team, network with likeminded individuals and boost your chance at interview success.

Feel motivated this winter

Here’s an enlightening article to beat away those January blues. It’s got some interesting tips about how to boost your mood so you’re more productive in the long run – we like the idea of embracing lunch breaks more to get some fresh air. Have a look and see what inspires you.

That’s it for now, have a great 2016!

Women In Business Awards - Sandra Sassow

Where are all the women in STEM?
