We are delighted to welcome Sara Reader, a qualified and highly respected business coach, who will talk about how to present your achievements well, both on paper and in person, vital skills in a competitive job market.

There will also be time to network with like-minded professionals and meet the Ten2Two team.

What Sara will cover

Whether you’re feeling stuck in your career, facing significant change at work, in need of advice after an absence from work or a career break, or you’re simply looking for a change of direction, for most people their starting point is their CV.

If it’s been while since you’ve had to look for another job, you may have forgotten about what you’ve achieved in your career so far which can often make the task of describing yourself on paper feel very daunting!  During the first half of this interactive workshop, she’ll introduce you to a few simple tools to get you thinking about some of your key achievements and how you could describe them.

Next, we’ll explore what is described as “the hidden job market” and what you can do to tap into it through networking.  Don’t worry – this type of networking isn’t about having to attend lots of scary events full of strangers, but instead taking a focused approach to finding your next job opportunity. During the second half of this workshop, Sara will take you through three basic steps you can follow, to create a robust networking plan.
