Whether you are returning to the workplace after a career break, or you’re well and truly in the workplace, anxiety and stress can hold you back in many different ways. We’re delighted to be working with two great speakers who offer different perspectives on how to manage your anxiety and overcome the stress.

Claire Stone
“Boosting your brain power for the work environment without ditching chocolate”.

Claire Stone is a nutritionist. But don’t be scared; she’s not a food dictator. In fact, she’s a serious advocate for chocolate, so you don’t need to avoid her! Claire aims to make you feel happy about food – she’ll help you understand how to stay focused, avoid the mid-afternoon slump and how to choose foods which help you feel more confident, calm and clear when you need it most. Claire has worked with UWE, NatWest and Lloyds Banking Group amongst others.

Nick Elston
“After a life time of stress, anxiety and OCD, Nick now offers tried and tested tips on getting your anxiety under control”.

All of us, at some point in our lives would have suffered from anxiety. First day at work, interview, presentation to the boss, submitting a tax return (lol!). We’ve all been there. But what if you had that feeling every moment of every day? What if you were constantly on edge about the iron being left on, the window being left open, or the backdoor being unlocked. In extreme cases, there could be no seemingly logical explanation behind the feelings at all. Nick has 30+ years of dealing with just that. Behind the confident and kind exterior, Nick harbours a lifetime of stress, anxiety and OCD. He is now fully equipped to not only understand what you’re going through, but to offer you tried and tested advice, tips and tricks to getting your anxiety under control. Nick has worked with Lloyds Banking Group, Barclays Bank and World Health Heroes amongst others.
