Farnborough is perfectly located for businesses, with fast links to London, and easy access to motorways and airports. In fact, you’d be hard pushed to find a better location. And employees have the chance to live in beautiful towns and villages surrounded by stunning countryside. Who’d want to live and work in London?!

Farnborough is world famous for its Airshow which has been held every two years since 1948, with over 150,000 attending over the seven day period. It’s a launch platform for aviation innovation and new aircraft, and in 2016 welcomed over 1,500 exhibitors from 52 countries, and more than $124 billion of orders were placed. Yes, that’s £124 billion!

Now the Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre is opening its doors this spring, to host world-class events and introduce more people and businesses to the area. The new £30 million purpose built Hall 1 is a 20,000 sqm conference and exhibition facility, offering 12,500 sqm of flexible event space. There is plenty of parking and excellent security, and of course super-fast connectivity and innovative design and technology. The architects are making the most of the Airport location, and the venue enjoys picture windows overlooking the runway so visitors can see the take-offs and landings. However, you won’t hear any noise because the insulation is second to none (of course!).

Hall 1 has been designed to be completely flexible (a word that Ten2Two loves). The exhibition and conference spaces can be reconfigured to host anything from 2,500 people in theatre style seating to 10 people in an intimate meeting room.

It’s an amazing facility for the area, and will undoubtedly be a huge boon for local businesses. We can’t wait to visit!
