Referral Scheme

We have been overwhelmed by the positive response we have had at Ten2Two and how effective word of mouth is. In recognition of the value of this to the business and our members, we are introducing a Referral Scheme that rewards Ten2Two Members who refer flexible jobs / roles in which we successfully place Ten2Two members.

For every successful referral we will pay £100.

Ten2Two ? Could she work part time days?

How does it work?

1. A member should telephone (01442 872873) or email Ten2Two (ruth@ten2two.org) and share the details of the potential role and Client.

2. We will immediately respond and let you know whether this is genuinely a new role / job for Ten2Two and therefore qualifies for the referral scheme.

3. Ten2Two will then directly contact the potential Client and begin the process of fulfilling their needs.

4. If the client selects a Ten2Two member for the referred role / job, within 8 weeks of the referral, we will inform the member who has referred the role.

5. On receipt of payment by Ten2Two from the Client of either the introductory fee (for permanent or contract jobs) or the first full months invoice (for temporary / interim roles), Ten2Two will then pay the referring member.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What information do you need on a vacancy?
A. The name of the client, the contact details and basic details of the specific role and should be sufficient for us to follow it up and qualify you for the scheme. However, the more information you can get for us on the job and circumstances will increase the likelihood that we can fill the role quickly and successfully. If you know the client contact personally, it would be useful if you let them know what you're doing so we can make the connection when we call!

Q. Does it matter what kind of Job or Role it is?
A. Permanent roles, fixed term contract roles of at least 6 months duration and temporary/intermin/consultancy roles that last for a minimum of 3 months will qualify. We do not take on any 'commission only' roles i.e. those roles where there is no basic salary.

Q: Does the vacancy need to be flexible or part-time?
A: The scheme only applies to roles that are offered on flexible terms (this may be part-time, work from home job share or on other flexible terms).

Q: How do I know if a referral has qualified me for the scheme?
A: Once we have contacted the client and have been formally engaged your referral will be eligible for the scheme. We will inform you when this takes place and confirm by email

Q: How much will I be paid?
A: We are offering £100.00 for each referral that lead to a successful placement within eight weeks of referral.

Q. How will I get paid?
A. Payments will be paid by cheque made payable to yourself as the referring member

Q. Can I refer more than one job?
A. A member can refer as many jobs as they wish and will be paid for each job successfully filled by a Ten2Two member.

Q: What if I refer a lot of jobs to you?
A: If you think you can regularly source jobs that could be filled by Ten2Two members please talk to the team to discuss how this could be structured.

Q. Will I be taxed on the money I earn through referring successful roles?
A. It is your responsibility as an individual to declare this payment to HM Revenue and Customs on your annual tax return.

Q. Can anyone refer a job / role?
A. The scheme is only open to registered members of Ten2Two - members referring vacancies to us may be fully registered or associate members.

Q. Can I get an update on the status on the role?
A. During the fulfilment of the role we will not be able to update you on the status or candidates due to Data Protection legislation, however will immediately inform you when the role has been filled as we will need to arrange for you to be paid.

Q. What if I refer a role / job but it is filled by a non Ten2Two member?
A. The scheme applies to referring a vacancy to Ten2Two, irrespective of how Ten2Two fills the position. We endeavour to always fill clients' requirements through Ten2Two members.

If you refer a job to us and you also know someone who could be interested in the role but is not a Ten2Two member, then you should get them to register with Ten2Two first.

Q. I am currently employed in a business that often has vacancies, can I refer these?
A. If you are an employee of the company with a vacancy then it is your responsibility to check with your company that it is acceptable to receive an award from Ten2Two. If you are either self-employed, on contract or on a project within a business we still advise that you check with the business first. This is for your own protection.

Q. What happens if the business I recommend has used Ten2Two before?
A. If this is the first time we have heard about this specific role / job and we successfully place a Ten2Two member than you will earn your reward. We will inform you as soon as you refer a role / job if this is the first time we know about it.
