It also covers preparing for an interview, observing interview techniques, and some group work to perfect your own personal ‘pitch’! Suitable for anyone wanting to brush up on their interview skills and improve their CV. Here’s some comments made about the last one:
Successful Time Management In terms of time management, you are at your most efficient the day before you start your holiday. Your time management and efficiency on this day is probably fantastic. If you really want to, you can be that well-organized every day. This workshop looks at some of the most widely used theories of time management and how to use these practically in your everyday life. Suitable for anyone looking to improve their time management skills. How to be a Successful Flexible Worker Many people think that becoming a flexible worker means merely changing your hours or structure of your week. But to be a successful flexible worker there are many more things to consider. You must be highly organised, consider the impact of your hours on colleagues, clients and home life and manage the ongoing balancing of ‘mind space’. This workshop shares experiences of working flexibly, discusses how to overcome barriers that you might face, considers how employers feel and offers advice on the areas to consider when taking on a flexible role. Suitable for anyone considering taking on a flexible role or already working flexibly. Dressing for Today’s Workplace What to wear at work has changed considerably over the last decade. Ten2Two have partnered with Muse, a ladies boutique in Berkhamsted to help members with their professional fashion dilemmas. The owners, Barbara and Hannah, will discuss the various ways to dress for today’s workplace and offer advice and style guidance to the members who attend. Suitable for anyone looking for some up-to-date fashion guidance for the workplace. |
