Case Study: The Hospice Lottery Providing strategic leadership and day to day operational management were key attributes that the Hospice Lottery Partnership were looking for as they started their hunt for a new Director. Ten2Two had previously helped them find a PA and they had been very impressed with the calibre of their members and the way they worked. |

The role was a very high profile role and has overall responsibility for providing long term sustainable funds to six local hospices which in turn helps them to continue their vital work. They were looking for candidates who could demonstrate the right balance of strategic leadership alongside day to day operational management. Helen brought with her all the necessary experience and skills, whilst being hugely passionate about the cause and how she could take the business forward. Helen's Story Helen's background has taken her from FMCG Marketing, to retraining as a counsellor after her children were born, to most recently being the Founding Manager / Company Secretary for Herts and Essex Family Mediation Service. When she registered with Ten2Two, not knowing what she was able to do next, she selected 'Administration' as her preferred position. It was only when Ten2Two met her did they tease out of her just what her real capabilities were. "Ten2Two were really good and gave me some fantastic advice. Having seen them I felt really empowered. In fact when I went to see them just before my interview for this role, they told me to 'believe in myself'. It made such a difference and really gave me the confidence I needed. Helen starts her role as Director for the Hospice Lottery Partnership, on a flexible basis, in May 08. |
